How it works · what you get

Exactly how it works — and what your $350 buys.

No mystery, no upsell. Here's what you get, how the process runs, how long it takes, and honest answers to the questions every parent asks before they trust someone with their child.

$350 flat — one price, no surprises
  • A genuine expert review of your child's IEP & records — read line by line, against what your child is actually owed under the law.
  • Credential-vetted local recommendations — the best evaluators, schools, therapists, and doctors near you, chosen by credentials (board certification, accreditation), not star ratings.
  • A clear written action plan — what's missing, what to ask the school for, and your exact next steps, in plain English.
  • A found-and-vetted local advocate — we research and recommend the right local advocate to stand beside you for the in-person work.
  • A free first reply & honest quote — before you pay anything, you'll hear back with honest next steps. Reduced-fee spots are available for families who need them.

We send a secure way to share records

Only once we're working together do we send a private, encrypted link for the IEP and evaluations — never through the website. See our privacy promise →

Encrypted · only the expert on your case sees them

Honest answers

Is this legal advice?

No. We're special-education advocates, not attorneys — our work is grounded in federal law (IDEA & Section 504), but it isn't legal representation. If your situation actually needs a lawyer, we'll tell you plainly and help you find one (the COPAA directory is a great start).

Do you fight my school, or work with it?

We work with your school whenever we can — collaborative meetings get kids more, faster, and protect your child's day-to-day relationships. We're firm and specific about what your child is owed, and we escalate when a district won't do right. The goal is always the child, not a fight.

Is my child's information safe?

Yes. We never collect your child's records through the website — when it's time, we send a private, encrypted link, and only the expert working on your case ever sees them. We never sell your information and never share it with your school without your say-so. Read our full privacy promise →

What if I can't afford $350?

Two things. First, reduced-fee spots are available — just ask, with no awkwardness. Second, an enormous amount of help is genuinely free: your state's federally funded Parent Center, our free tools and letter templates, and the free official resources in your state. We'd rather you get help than get nothing.

Are you really able to help in my state?

Yes. Special-education rights are federal — the same in every state. What changes is the local process and who's genuinely good nearby, and that's exactly what we research for your state and district. Then we point you to a vetted local advocate for the in-person work. See how we help anywhere →

Do you come to the IEP meeting?

In the DC–Maryland–Virginia area, that can be us directly. Anywhere else in the country, we do the expert review, research, and plan, and connect you with a vetted local advocate near you for the in-person meeting — so you're never walking in alone.

How do I pay — and when?

Your first reply and honest quote are free. You only decide to move forward after you know exactly what you're getting. There's no obligation at any point.

What if I just want the free stuff?

Please take it. Everything on this site is free — the guides, the tools, the templates, the state resources. Use whatever helps your child, and reach out only if and when you want an expert beside you.
